GoVA Foundation Partners with BB Americas to Expand Financial Education Access for Low- and Moderate-Income Military Families in Southern Florida
CARY, NC (March 5, 2025) – GoVA Foundation announces a strategic partnership with BB Americas (Banco de Brasil S.A.), an award-winning competitive community bank, to provide free digital financial education resources to low- and moderate-income (LMI) military families through GoVA’s innovative platform, The Edge.
Through a Community Development grant from BB Americas, the program will serve 50 qualified military households across Southern Florida, focusing on Broward, Miami-Dade, Orange, and Osceola counties. The Edge platform offers interactive courses, financial calculators, and other digital resources designed to build financial independence and literacy within the military community. Importantly, all resources are available in both English and Spanish, aligning with BB Americas’ commitment to serving diverse communities throughout Southern Florida.

The partnership launched on February 1, 2025, and reflects both organizations’ commitment to supporting military communities and expanding financial education access. BB Americas will receive LMI verification and impact reports as part of the grant agreement, while sponsored households gain unlimited access to The Edge’s comprehensive financial education tools for a full year.
This collaboration is part of GoVA Foundation’s ongoing efforts to partner with forward-thinking financial institutions nationwide in service of military families.
