GoVA Foundation Partners with Wallis Bank to Provide Financial Education for Military Families  

 

CARY, NC (March 15, 2025) – GoVA Foundation announces a strategic partnership with Wallis Bank to provide free digital financial education resources to military families through GoVA’s innovative platform, The Edge. 

Through a Community Development grant from Wallis Bank, the program will serve 20 military households across Texas, California, and Georgia, with five families each in San Antonio, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. The Edge platform offers interactive courses, financial calculators, and other digital resources designed to build financial independence and literacy within the military community.

The partnership launched on March 1, 2025, and reflects both organizations’ commitment to supporting military communities and expanding financial education access. GoVA was able to immediately fulfill Wallis Bank’s grant request by identifying and sponsoring 20 military members on The Edge platform, with 50% confirmed as low-to-moderate income households.  

This collaboration is part of GoVA Foundation’s ongoing efforts to partner with forward-thinking financial institutions nationwide in service of military families.
