Honor, Remember, Empower: GoVA Foundation Partners with Wreaths Across America

This December, the GoVA Foundation proudly joins Wreaths Across America in their mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach by placing wreaths on Veterans’ graves across the nation. This partnership represents more than just a holiday tradition—it embodies our commitment to supporting military families in both life and legacy.

A Legacy of Service and Support

When a service member joins the military, their entire family serves alongside them. This commitment doesn’t end with active duty—it creates a lasting legacy that deserves to be honored and remembered. On December 14, 2024, thousands of Americans will gather at military cemeteries nationwide to place wreaths on Veterans’ graves, speaking each name aloud to ensure their memory lives on. Remembrance takes other forms as well, including the National D-Day Memorial and the town whose losses inspired it.

More Than a Wreath: Supporting Military Families Today

The GoVA Foundation’s partnership with Wreaths Across America reflects our broader mission of empowering military families through financial education and support. Just as each wreath represents a story of service and sacrifice, our work provides tools and resources that help today’s military families build their own legacy of financial security.

Through The Edge, our comprehensive financial education platform, we offer:

Free financial education scholarships for service members, Veterans, and spouses- Interactive tools for managing military benefits

  • Resources for transitioning service members
  • Support for military families facing financial challenges
