Experienced financial experts founded GoVA Inc. with a desire to give back to military members, Veterans and their families. We strive to create a practical path to financial wellness for every family, no matter their circumstances.

The founder, Phil Jawny, has two decades of experience in the mortgage and financial industries. Originally, his focus in founding GoVA was to help military members process their VA loans and enjoy the benefits they have earned from military service. However, research quickly led him to realize the lack of financial education in the military community, so GoVA now leads with an education-first approach to put modern financial and educational tools in the hands of service members, Veterans, and their spouses. The team is almost entirely Veterans or military spouses, so we work directly with our own community.

Our purpose is to provide education and expert guidance to help military members reach financial goals and feel better prepared to manage their financial outlook. Our team brings together industry experts with decades of experience and military Veterans who understand the unique challenges of military life, so you can lean on us to help you find the best path forward.
